In addition to producing our regular season of shows, our Education Programming has served hundreds of students with FREE workshops either virtually or in-person, and over 3,600 students and educators will attend Student Matinees this season for just $5 each. Your support helps us provide these important arts experiences to your community.

In-Person Bidding During Lunenburg

Items marked LIVE EVENT ONLY will be on display in The Public Theatre lobby during the run of Lunenburg May 3-12, 2024.

Bids may be placed in-person, or through an "ABSENTEE" bid. You may not place bids online for these items.

Current Bids on LIVE EVENT ONLY items will not be displayed online.
Items marked LIVE EVENT ONLY are on display in the lobby, as well.

"LIVE EVENT ONLY" bidding closes 20 minutes after the end of the Sunday, May 12, 2024, 2:00 pm performance.

If you would like to place a bid, you may call 782-3200 or email info@thepublictheatre.org with SUBJECT: Auction Bid Item #[000] and your bid.

All Absentee Bids must be submitted by 3:30 pm, Sunday, May 12, 2024.

You may submit either a PROXY BID or an EXACT BID

A PROXY BID is the MAXIMUM amount you’re willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. We will ensure that you are the high-bidder until your PROXY BID amount is outbid.

An EXACT BID is the amount you want to bid right now. Your bid amount will not change as additional bids are received for the item.
**Beyond fulfilling PROXY BIDS, we are not able to monitor all the LIVE ITEMS for bidding changes, including checking to see if your PROXY BID has been outbid. It is your responsibility to check on your bid status.
