TPM: The Ultimate Auction

This year we're hosting the third iteration of our Ultimate Theatre Championship Gala on May 16th, plus a 2 week long Ultimate Online Auction to go with it!

On the evening of the 16th, the gladiators of Canadian theatre will meet face to face in the Ultimate Theatre Championship to determine this country's greatest welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight actors. Bare-knuckle monologues, grudge-match scene work, and nail-biting stage combat will keep you on the edge of your seat. Featuring superstar Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway) and Teresa Pavlinek (Woman Fully Clothed) in the title match, this is one night you won't want to miss!

A select number of auction items have been reserved exclusively for the Gala night and won't be found online. If you're unable to attend but still want to support TPM, check out the Ultimate Online Auction! Get your hands on an assortment of goodies generously donated by our sponsors. Or, better yet, see the show AND bid on items! All proceeds support Theatre Passe Muraille.

About Theatre Passe Muraille

Founded in 1968, Theatre Passe Muraille is Canada’s oldest alternative theatre company currently developing and producing new Canadian work. It operates out of a designated 1902 historical building (the former Nasmith Bakery and stables) located just north of Queen St, between Bathurst and Spadina, in the heart of Toronto’s fashion district. There are two theatre venues, the Mainspace, which seats 185 and the Backspace, which seats 55. TPM produced some of Canada’s most important theatrical work, including The Farm Show, The Crackwalker, Maggie & Pierre and The Drawer Boy.

As a not-for-profit theatre providing support for artists and independent companies, our work is only possible because of people like you. Your contribution not only allows for great work to be seen on our stages — it also helps us to offer programs to emerging artists free of charge, keep our ticket prices accessible, and to create engaging community programs to support the voices on our stage.
