About Our Auction

This one-of-a-kind 1956 GMC 100 was donated to TACT by Mike Rowe in September of 2020. (see the video here! https://fb.watch/8sLXcMe_HO/) Our students restored it and we are now auctioning it off!

All proceeds from this auction will go to support our scholarship fund which allows individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder to attend TACT (Teaching the Autism Community Trades) at a minimal cost. Our programs instill real-world skills in one of the highest unemployed groups in the country!

About TACT (Teaching the Autism Community Trades)

TACT is a Denver-based 501( c) 3 non-profit that teaches trade and technical skills to individuals ages 5-21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). TACT was created to provide enriching, innovative, and hands-on educational programs while improving the opportunity for employment and long-term self-sufficiency for those with ASD. With a focus on trade professions and technical skills, TACT offers the only program of its kind in the country. Through its immersive, hands-on vocational training, TACT effectively prepares young individuals with ASD- who now represent one in 54 children, ages 5 through 17- for skilled trade careers, which are one of the fastest-growing and most difficult to fill professions in the country.
