About Our Auction
The purpose of this silent auction is to find a lovely home to 2 inspiring Sunflower Paintings (14x14 inches, mixed media), created by the artist, Elena Rebrina (https://www.instagram.com/e.rebrina.art/), specifically for the BFCCPS Fundraiser to help Ukraine.
“Having family in Ukraine, this fundraiser is very close to my heart. I want to help innocent people in any way I can, that’s why I created these 2 paintings as my artistic contribution to the cause! I named them “Hope” and “Believe”, because I really believe in my heart that PEACE is the answer and I hope to make a difference…”, the artist says.
Sunflowers symbolize endurance, hope and unity. In the light of recent events sunflowers became a symbol of peace for Ukraine.
The goal for this auction is to collect $1000. All of the collected funds will be donated to “Sunflower of Peace” (www.sunflowerofpeace.com).
About BFCCPS
At BFCCPS we strive to help others, so in the light of recent events we created a series of Fundraising activities to help Ukraine: Sunflower Pins (with cards), Craft night (K-6), Paint Night (for adults), and auctioning paintings by artist: Elena Rebrina.
Mission for this fundraiser is to provide awareness about the current world situation without judgment. We stand for world peace and empathy to the suffering of others! We want innocent people in Ukraine to have access to medicine, food and shelter and will provide “emotional” support. We choose to do Art to make the world a better place!
Our Goal: Collect $5000 from all of the activities. So far we've collected about $2,500. We still have a Paint Night event (on May 6) and auctioning 2 paintings (silent auction online).
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Sunflower of Peace (www.sunflowerofpeace.com). it’s a US-based (Boston, MA) non-profit organization 501 (c) (3) (EIN: 47-2620675) whose current mission is to provide medical and humanitarian aid for people affected by violence in Ukraine.
