Sudo is a nonprofit organization, and all our workshops and meetups are free! We want to keep it that way, and in order to do so, we’re asking the Kingston community to help us!

Sudo is a Kingston-based initiative with the mission to build an inclusive community where women can learn to code together. In July 2016, Sudo started hosting monthly meet-ups, where people of different skillsets join us to discuss programming, work on projects, and meet like-minded individuals.

In September 2016, Sudo began offering free programming workshops for women to improve their technical skills. So far, we've held workshops covering web development, advanced web development, introductory computer science, creative computing, and WordPress. We believe programming is a skill everyone should have, and it's our mission to encourage local women to learn these skills.
