About St Dympna's School P and F Assoc

St Dympna's School is an establishment on Brisbane's Northside which opened in 1963. In 2018 we celebrated our 55th anniversary cementing our reputation as one of the best known Catholic primary schools in Brisbane. We are in the early stages of a school modernisation program that has seen us open in 2019 a state-of-the-art new building with 6 classrooms and space for 6 more. Our master plan provides for significant improvements over the next 4 years.

The School P & F Association is run by committed parents of current students and supports the parents, friends, staff and children of the school. We are an inclusive group, that facilitate the link between the school, families and the community. To that end, we are actively involved in community events that will build our profile with new generations and hopefully lead to the raising of funds required to support our master plan.

We host many community-based events including discos, movie nights, mothers' lunches, sausage sizzles, Christmas Carols under the stars and our major school fundraiser, the fantastic St Dympna's School Fair.

About Our Auction

St Dympna's Fair is all about community and supporting the development and education of our children. Last year, we saw an uptake in community involvement in the Fair and our success allowed us to fund a new playground area for the upper school. We are looking forward to the 2019 edition and think it is going to be our biggest and best yet!

Our auction will help us to achieve our 2019 Fair goals which include:
- raising funds to ensure we give our children access to the best educational resources on offer, and
- raising enough to begin the funding of 6 extra classrooms in our aforementioned new building.

The fair will be held on Saturday 7th September 2019, from 11am to 4pm.

The auction will be live from Friday 16th August at 9.00am and all bidding will close at 5.00pm on Sunday 8th September. At this time, you will need to finalise payment of your item in the event that your bid was successful. Your item will be available for collection from the school administration office from 8.30am Monday 9th September until and no later than 3.30pm Tuesday 10th September.
