Shop Small, Help BIG!

COVID-19 restrictions have severely restricted local small businesses' ability to generate revenue. CASA recently postponed its annual CASA Blanca gala fundraiser from April 3rd to October 16th. That is a significant loss to our budget for our fiscal year which ends in June. In place of our gala, CASA is asking individuals to buy gift cards from local small businesses and donate them to CASA. CASA will then auction them virtually. We are hoping this helps small businesses, CASA, and gives people something more tangible to do to help their community.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Virginia is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization that provides volunteer advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Our volunteers are the eyes and ears of the judge and the voice for the child. All proceeds from this auction will help us recruit, train, and support volunteers for children in Lynchburg and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, and Nelson.
