With the prevalence of autism now at 1 in 54, the requests for help from our organization are increasing dramatically. The Autism Society of Texas provides free information & referrals for the entire state. We respond to thousands of inquiries each year about diagnosis, treatment, interventions, educational options, social services, and resources. We also provide advocacy, education and support to children and adults with autism, as well as their families and caregivers.

Join our Season of Giving Launch Party on December 3rd at 7:30 pm on Facebook live (@AutismTX). We'll have a live musical performance via Facebook by Houston jazz vocalist, Tianna Hall! Hope to "see" you there!

About Autism Society of Texas

Autism Society of Texas' mission is to promote and advocate for the general welfare of persons with autism by:

Advocating for the education and training of parents and professionals involved in the educating and caring for persons with autism;

Helping develop a better understanding of the challenges of persons with autism and their families throughout Texas by serving as a clearinghouse for the gathering and disseminating of information regarding autism; and

Sharing information with families to enable them to better understand autism by providing them with pertinent and current information through monthly meetings, workshops, and a newsletter so parents may be better advocates for their children with autism, and adults with autism have resources and support.

AST is a 501(c)3 organization that depends heavily on donations. Please know that contributions are tax-deductible and will be used to support programs, advocacy, free support, information and referrals within Texas.
