Save Our Tails! Online Auction for WCHS

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Save Our Tails Online Auction! This auction is hosted by the Windham County Humane Society to benefit the animals and community programs here in our Brattleboro, Vermont shelter. We hope you have fun bidding on wonderful gift cards, items, services, and experiences throughout Vermont and New England.

In 2022 alone, WCHS gave out 155 pet microchips, clipped 232 pet's nails, administered 1,055 rabies vaccines, and welcomed 169 "transported" dogs and cats to offer them loving homes in Vermont. Annually, 500+ pets are adopted and 1,500 community pets are seen through our Pet Care Assistance Program. In 2023, we hope to help just as many pets and the people who love them...all while breaking ground on our exciting "Building a Better Future" Capital Campaign project. This massive undertaking includes the renovation of our current building, in addition to the construction of a new addition to house a Shelter Medical Suite.

Windham County Humane Society's mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of animals and enhance the relationship between individuals and pets through adoption, education, advocacy, compassion, and promotion of animal welfare.
