Seattle's Progressive Preschool (SPP) Auction

SPP keeps their tuition costs low and financial aid easily available to make our school accessible to all. In order to cover our operating costs and financial aid for students, we fundraise a significant portion of the budget. This also covers a portion of the teacher salaries, supplies, building lease, and licensing fees for the preschool.

All of our auction items are experiences and range from kids music and dance classes to exciting live concerts. We also have a donate button on the top right. Cash donations are tax deductible.

SPP was founded in October 2009 by two Seattle parents, Derek Stanley and Cynthia Rowand, who wanted to create a school that embraced the full spectrum of social and environmental issues that fall under the progressive umbrella.

From our choice of toys, to our service activities and our location on bus lines, we strive to make every decision consistent with good environmental stewardship and social justice. The personalization of the school’s curriculum is aimed at helping families of varying backgrounds understand one another.
