Thank you for visiting our 2023 Fall Fundraiser. We are celebrating 25 years! For the fourth year in a row, the Alliance is holding an online silent auction! We are excited about the variety of items generously donated by nearly 70 area businesses and organizations, artists, authors, book sellers, and Alliance members from North Freedom, Baraboo, Spring Green, Black Earth, Prairie du Sac, Sauk City, Madison, Viroqua, Lodi, Green Bay, Weyerhaeuser, Edgerton, Albuquerque (New Mexico), Lincoln (Nebraska) - and Kenya! In addition to bidding and direct buying, there is an option to donate to Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance through the green "Donate" button at the top right-hand corner of this site.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to projects that support the organization's community conservation, education, recreation and research on the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant lands. Among these projects are the "We Are Sauk Prairie" lecture series, wildlife surveys, prairie restoration along the Great State Sauk Trail and Hillside Prairie remnant, public tours, and the operating and updating of the self-guided tour app, "Explore the Badger Lands."

The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance is celebrating 25 years of advocating for a conservation future on the Badger Lands. The Badger Lands serves as a model for holistic landscape-scale, region-wide conservation, demonstrating how land protection, ecological restoration, research, conservation agriculture and community participation can be integrated and mutually supportive.

The Badger Lands have a unique geological, natural and cultural history and they provide a wonderful opportunity for community engagement, public education and research.
