Drowning is the Leading Cause of Accidental Death in the U.S. for Ages 4 & Under (CDC).
13 school buses full of children die each year from drowning in the United States. It’s the silent epidemic that no one is talking about. The absolute blessing here is that drowning is preventable. Through pooling our resources and connecting underserved children with providers who can help educate families how to keep their children safe and who can give children the ability to save their own lives through learning to swim, community by community, we can reverse the tide of child drownings worldwide. Help us end childhood drowning by donating to help teach a child in need. Children who learn to swim at a young age, not only are able to save their own life, but are reaching developmental milestones earlier than the norm.
