About Our Auction

Every fall during our Annual Local Foods Dinner, we have a Silent Auction featuring handmade and local items to raise money for our organization, Spiral Living Center. We also collaborate with our local radio station KXCJ-LP 105.7fm to offer local music and entertainment. This year, 70% of our proceeds will go to KXCJ and 30% will help us at SLC continue to offer free or low-cost programs in the Illinois Valley!

Over the last 15 years, we have started and developed a wide spectrum of community-reliance programs such as the IV Gleaning Project, Earth Scouts!, and IV Bikespace. We also birthed our local Illinois Valley radio station, KXCJ-LP 105.7fm, which is now it’s own nonprofit organization. They increase the cultural and economic vitality of our area by providing listeners with a valuable source for news and information that addresses both local and regional interests. Your auction donations will directly contribute to helping us & KXCJ expand our programs in 2022. Thank you!!

About Spiral Living Center & KXCJLP

Spiral Living Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has served the Illinois Valley of Southern Oregon since 2006. Our mission is to promote sustainable living skills by offering resources for our community to become more self-sufficient. We have developed and currently maintain a wide spectrum of community-reliance programs including the IV Gleaning Project, IV Bikespace, Resource Libraries, and our NEW Earth Scouts! Program. We also organize and execute hands-on educational events and large scale gatherings.

KXCJ is an FCC-licensed, volunteer-run, community-based FM radio station serving the city of Cave Junction, Oregon, and the surrounding Illinois River Valley. We provide listeners with a valuable source for news and information that addresses both local and regional interests. We also provide and produce music and other cultural programming that does not duplicate what is already available on the local airwaves. We train local people-- especially youth and elders-- to produce their own ongoing radio shows. We seek to increase the cultural and economic vitality of the Illinois Valley. www.kxcj.org.
