SFV HONGWANJI BUDDHIST TEMPLE SILENT AUCTION
Welcome to our inaugural SFVHBT Online Silent Auction! This year, the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic has led to the cancellation of events and major fundraisers including our very popular San Fernando Obon Festival. We hope you enjoy browsing these silent auction items especially curated and offered here for your consideration. Silent Auction funds will support SFVHBT’s 2020 operating budget. Due to the overwhelming generosity of donated items, we were unable to post all items in this silent auction. With virtual hugs and palms together (gassho), thank you very much for your support.
Online bidding will begin on Sunday, November 1 at 9am; and end on Sunday, November 15 at 12pm. Thank you for your support!
About SAN FERNANDO VALLEY HONGWANJI BUDDHIST TEMPLE
The San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (SFVHBT) is based on a firm foundation of Jodo-Shinshu Buddhism. Local origins can be traced as far back as the 1920s when Japanese settlers in the San Fernando Valley gathered to study Buddhist teachings. This year, SFVHBT will commemorate 100 Years of Nembutsu in the San Fernando Valley.
