About Save Cats & Obliterate Overpopulation

We are a non-profit animal-welfare organization. Since 2006 our mission has been to help alleviate suffering and overpopulation among stray and feral cats through non-lethal methods.

Our goals:

1. Caring for many dozens of rescued cats--most with special needs--in the SCOOP sanctuary. These cats receive the best possible daily and medical care, and Hospice care as needed.

2. Providing small medical grants through our Sick and Injured Cat (SIC) Program. These funds are for community members who want to assist a sick or injured stray or feral cat.

We are completely staffed by volunteers and 100% of proceeds from fundraisers benefit the community and cats. In addition, we provide education and consultation 365 days a year to community members concerning various aspects of kitten and cat welfare, as well as advocacy issues. SCOOP has assisted over 3,000 stray and feral cats mainly through the Sick and Injured Cat (SIC) and Prevent A Litter (PAL) Programs.
