Seattle Composers Alliance 2015 Spring Fundraiser

The SCA is holding its annual Fundraising Event and Auction on March 9, 2015. Your bids will help to support our educational and performance events. All SCA events are open to the public, and are funded by proceeds raised from the evening’s silent auction and raffle. In 2014 the SCA presented or sponsored the following events:

Composing for String Quartet presented by Ken Benshoof
In September, the SCA presented its first-ever Call for Scores for String Quartet, which brought in submissions from around the globe; the winning scores were performed in an October concert by the St. Helens String Quartet at The Chapel performance space.

The Seattle Composers Alliance is a non-profit organization made up of Seattle’s professional composers working in all areas of media including feature films, television shows and commercials, video games, internet and multimedia productions. The SCA represents a wide cross section of these professional composers as students and others interested in music composition. SCA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional membership corporation.
