2022 Adirondack Chair Trail Auction

IT'S SHOW TIME!
Our 2022 Adirondack Chair Trail Auction begins online Thursday, September 1 through Tuesday, September 13, ending at midnight.

The auction will then continue as a live silent auction under the tent at The Sagamore Inn on Thursday, September 15, between 5:30-7:30 pm. The high bids in the online auction will become the opening bids at the live auction.

Can’t make the live auction? Not a problem and no worries! Just leave a proxy bid. (See details below.)

In short, a proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the chair at the lowest possible price.

During the online portion of the auction, as additional bids are entered on the chair you are interested in, the system will bid incrementally for you up to your maximum proxy bid amount.

When the auction transitions to the live event on September 15th, a volunteer will be assigned to continue your proxy bid which will not exceed your maximum amount.

ABOUT PROXY BIDS AND EXACT BIDS
A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you incrementally, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered for the item. When the auction transitions to the live event on September 15th, someone will be assigned to continue your proxy bid which will not exceed your maximum amount.

An exact bid is the amount you want to set as the item's selling price you are willing to pay. Your bid amount will not change as additional bids are entered on the item.

To enter a proxy bid online, enter your maximum bid amount, click the Proxy Bid button, and then submit your bid. You can rest assured that your maximum proxy bid amount is never exposed to anyone other than you during the online auction.

To enter an exact bid online, enter your bid amount, click the Exact Bid button, and then submit your bid. If you don't see the Exact Bid button, the auction administrator has turned off this option due to higher bids already in play.

The 2022 Adirondack Chair Trail LIVE Auction ( a continuation of our online event) will be held under the tent at The Sagamore Inn (1131 Sandwich Road, Sagamore) on Thursday, 9/15/22 from 5:30-7:30PM. It’s your chance to bid on and WIN your favorite artist-inspired chair, meet the artists and sponsors, and help support the programs of the Sandwich Arts Alliance!

This event is open to all and features live music by SAA musicians, a cash bar and an Adirondack Chair Raffle.
