Sea to Sky Rotary El Cardonal Children's Home

The Rotary Clubs of Whistler, Whistler Millenium, Squamish, and Pemberton are raising money with this silent auction to equip a commercial kitchen, laundry room, and dining hall for children at the soon to be constructed, El Cardonal Children’s Home in Baja, Mexico. The home will provide temporary care for children whose primary caregiver(s) are unable to look after them due to a variety of unfortunate circumstances, such as a serious medical condition in the family.
The Sea to Sky Rotary Clubs and the Rotary Club of New Westminster-Royal City are partnering to raise funds, and achieve a Rotary Global Grant to provide these facilities.

The Children’s Home is being built by non-profit Leaders2Give (https://leaders2give.org/home1), an organization dedicated to improving and supporting the lives of people in need. This facility will provide a place where mothers can bring their children to be looked after while getting the medical care that they or their family members need. Leaders2Give want to build a place where kids can go to school, have friends, eat nutritious meals, grow, thrive, and basically be kids.

The Rotary Club of Whistler has been supporting the Whistler Community and major International welfare programmes since 1977.
