About Our Auction

This year's fundraiser is all about RESILIENCE. Our first funding goal is to provide tuition scholarships to families unable to cover the full cost of tuition. During this crazy time, the need for assistance is at an all time high.

Our second funding goal is to acquire a school-set of outerwear for each child! Children who spend more time outside are happier, do better in school, have deeper friendships, and are healthier emotionally and physically. It's also the best place to be in these COVID times! River Song recently established a School Partnership with Oaki, a maker of brilliantly good outerwear for children.

Purchasing a set of Oaki outerwear will help us ensure that all of our kiddos are safe and warm outside, regardless of what family resources for outerwear might be. Providing consistent gear for our children advances our mission of equity, and River Song will be able to use these quality snowsuits year after year.

All items won for OVER the stated value, as well as the full amount of sponsoring an OAKI suit, are eligible for a tax receipt for this additional amount. This can then be claimed on your state and federal taxes as a donation, including the 50% State of Colorado tax credit. Not only do you get a great item or service but a little tax benefit too! Receipts will be sent out at the end of the year.

About River Song Waldorf School

At River Song, we are a community working together to protect and celebrate the magic of childhood, pure and simple. We create a unique and natural environment where childhood is honored and great human beings are nurtured through Waldorf educational practices. Our early childhood program offers children 2 1/2 - 6 years of age a warm, home-like environment where they can experience the joys and challenges of these early years while preparing them for a move into grade school life by educating each individual child - head, hands, and heart.

We are also excited to now welcome school-age children into our community with our Nature Camp summer and afterschool programs.
