ReFashion Week Silent Auction

ReFashion Week NYC is a first-of-its-kind activation to motivate sustainability and reuse in fashion. Our goal is to reduce the amount of residential textile waste sent to landfills—approximately 200,000 tons of clothing, shoes, linens, and accessories per year.

Our Silent Auction draws brands committed to reuse, circularity, and sustainability in their business models. All proceeds go back to the zero-waste programming at the Sanitation Foundation, so that we can continue to grow the ReFashion Movement.

The Sanitation Foundation is the official non-profit partner of the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY). Our mission is two-fold: to celebrate and support the essential Sanitation workforce and advance the Department’s ambitious zero-waste agenda.

We accomplish this by fostering innovative public/private partnerships between DSNY, businesses, and community organizations. Our public engagement, education, and capacity-building programs support DSNY in achieving our shared vision for a healthier, cleaner, more sustainable NYC.
