Run for the Roses 2021 Derby Fundraiser

Thank you for attending 11th Annual Run for the Roses. This Kentucky Derby themed party has become the event to “See and Be Seen” in West Orange County! We will watch “America's Greatest Race” - the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby LIVE at 6:57 p.m.!

This event also features: delicious Derby fare with Specialty Derby beverages, casino gaming tables, horse racing, the Classic Kentucky Derby Inspired Hat Contest, Wine & Bourbon Pull and the ever popular, fan favorite, Run for the Roses Silent Auction!

The West Orange Junior Service League: A local Non-profit organization that began with 25 members in 1936 & has grown to 150 members today. WOJSL Members have dedicated thousands of volunteer hours to support families and non-profit organizations in West Orange County.

Run for the Roses is WOJSL's last fundraising event of each league season. In 2019, this event had a record-breaking attendance of nearly 400 guests, and combined with our other events that year we were able to distribute over $55,000 to local West Orange charities! With the devastating cancellation of our 2020 event, we have set a goal for 2021 to raise even more than 2019, with your help we hope to reach the goal of $60,000!

Some of our past fund recipients include Edgewood Children’s Ranch, Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Foundation, Garden Theatre, Daily Bread, Health Central Park, Matthew's Hope, Oakland Nature Preserve, Habitat for Humanity, YoungLife, Building Pathways, Orlando Health Foundation, Roper YMCA, UCP of West Orange, West Orange Scholarship Fund, Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, Winter Garden Scholarship Fund and many more.
