Power the Tower

Vernon’s Community Radio Station (now streaming online at ValleyFM.ca) wants to start broadcasting across the Greater Vernon British Columbia on 97.9 FM. And they are asking for your help!
We need to purchase, install, and maintain a radio transmitter on our radio tower, so we cancomplete the dream of having a locally focused radio station for our city.
The Vernon Radio Society, a non-profit, board-governed group that has established 97.9 Valley FM.
In 2020, the CRTC (Canadian Radio Telecommunication Commission) approved the frequency 97.9 FM. The society has been working to get ON AIR since that time, and they are almost there.
The Vernon Radio Society is asking for your help to complete this final step in the process of establishing a new, exciting, Vernon-based radio station for our community!
