Penland Post Office Needs Paint!

Penland Post Office and General Store has been steadily on the renovation track and now we need an exterior upgrade. Sanding, priming and painting are next on our agenda to saving this historic building in the heart of our community. We are planning on installing water and a septic system, as well as a bathroom to give our building more options for activities and use of the space.

Artists from near and far are donating their art pieces to help us raise the funds to give our community center a much needed makeover. After the auction, you can pick up your item in Penland or have it shipped. Shipping is extra. Handling is free.

We are a nonprofit dedicated to the restoration of the Penland Post Office and General Store, which was built in 1902. We have come a very long way and now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
