Main Ring Upgrade Fundraiser

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Due to the current emergency situation in the Sumas Prairie and other areas in the province, EBLES will be donating 10% of all auction proceeds to the BCSPCA**

The Elk/Beaver Lake Equestrian Society (EBLES) is undertaking an extensive project to enhance our facilities. This includes repairing and upgrading the main arena, improving the footing in the small arena, upgrading the round pen and enhancing the surrounding area.

Improvements to the main arena are the top priority, and must include a new watering system to ensure that the arena is maintained year-round at an optimal level for horse comfort and safety. This Silent Auction is specifically to raise funds for the watering system.

EBLES is a non-profit organization which has maintained the equestrian facilities located at 720 Beaver Lake Rd., within Elk/Beaver Lake Park on beautiful Vancouver Island since 1986. EBLES also advocates for horse riders throughout the park and supports trail maintenance and access.

The EBLES facility has been a place for all equestrians to enjoy for many years. Countless shows and events have been held here and this facility means a lot to many participants in our equestrian sport. The facility is open to the public year-round and includes two arenas, a round-pen, tie-stalls, bleachers, a covered gathering area and a horse shelter, as well as parking for horse trailers.

Whilst the facilities are available to all, membership is affordable and encouraged for all horse lovers who use the Elk/Beaver Lake Park.
