Parkinsonic: World Parkinson Congress - #WPC4YOPD

A group of people with YOPD (Young Onset Parkinson's Disease) came together at the 5th World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto to discuss the issues unique to those with YOPD such as working with PD, raising young families or taking care of elderly parents. The goal is to create a travel grant fund specifically for other YOPD to be able to also experience the WPC (https://wpc2022.org/page/yopdfund). The next WPC will be held in Barcelona in 2022.

After attending the congress, people living with Parkinson's return to their communities more aware and more engaged. Their involvement in research is also fundamental.

The goal is to reach $50,000; and as of mid April, we're at $45,000! I hope to reach $2,500 through this auction. Anything above that amount will be sent to the Parkinson's Unity Walk through Sabela and the Hotstppers ( http://support.unitywalk.org/goto/hotsteppers). All funds to PUW go entirely to research.
