PEM Silent Auction

We are raising money to support our new SickKids Emerg Research Team!

Funds will support our Research Assistant salaries as well as directly contribute to infrastructure and systems that facilitate completing high quality research in a busy clinical environment (such as small incentives for clinical staff for identification of potential study patients).

Our MISSION is to conduct innovative clinical research in pediatric emergency medicine, with an emphasis on improving care and outcomes in the acutely ill or injured child.

Our VISION is to have a collaborative, productive and practice-changing locally-initiated research program, that will be nationally and internationally competitive, with successful knowledge translation components through scientific publications, conference presentations, continuing medical education and clinical practice guidelines. We hope to regularly participate in multicenter, national, and international level studies as a top enrolling site, while also supporting ED fellows, junior faculty researchers and SickKids researchers from other divisions whose patients receive care in the Emergency Department.

We are launching a new Research Team in January called SEARCH:

7 Research Assistants
21 Volunteers
led by our new Research Coordinator, Bethany Lerman
