2021 PALM Graduation Gala: Online Auction

This online auction is for the 2021 PALM Graduation Gala (Promoting Academics in Latinx Milwaukee).

The purpose of this auction is to fundraise for the Roberto Hernández Center's Latinx Student Fund, which directly disburses the RHC's Emergency Award. This funding opportunity gives $500 scholarships to Latinx students who are experiencing a financial need or obstacle that could prevent them from completing their education at UW-Milwaukee.

This year we have seen an overwhelming applicant pool of over 150 students, up from last year's high of less than 50. However, we were only able to award 12 students this year. This demonstrates the magnification of the already existing importance of the RHC's Emergency Award. All proceeds of this auction will go the RHC's Latinx Student Fund to increase the endowment we have available to give to UWM's Latinx students via the RHC's Emergency Award.
