About Our Auction

The non-profit Escondido Creek Conservancy (Conservancy) is hosting a family-friendly outdoor festival at the Mountain Meadow Preserve on April 6, 2024 to elevate its outdoor education programs. This
is a fundraiser for the Conservancy’s Education Fund. Donations are dedicated to launch new environmental and outdoor education programs and sustain existing ones. Through the Conservancy's
programs, events, and exhibits, we reach more than 15,000 people every year. For more information about the event and registration, go to this link: https://escondidocreek.org/events/outdoor-education-elevated/

The Conservancy’s outdoor education programming is in partnership with the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) and other local organizations to provide the highest quality STEM education to all
students (K-8). The Conservancy's programs serve all 1,500 3rd grade students in the EUSD with their Habitats: Inquiry into Action program. We sponsor teachers throughout North San Diego County facilitating Trout in the Classroom programming for over 600 students each year. On top of that, the Conservancy has provided Summer Adventure Camp programming, free of charge, to Escondido residents for 3 years running. The Conservancy's program curriculum aligns with Next Generation Science Standards with a heavy S.T.E.M. focus to compliment lessons being taught in the classrooms, connecting classrooms to the natural world.
