Four Years of Saving Lives

June is our organizational birthday month!

On June 12, 2013, our founder Claudia Christian filed the paperwork to officially establish the C Three Foundation. In the four years since then, we never could have imagined we would create such a powerful impression on the world of alcohol treatment.

We've launched several programs: the One Little Pill documentary film, which reaches thousands of people each year, introduces people to the Sinclair Method (TSM) by showing personal stories of success; our Key Chain Program makes medication adherence easier for those in recovery using TSM; the Physician Outreach Program has grown from a single page with a handful of treatment providers to a vibrant resource that connects those looking for help for alcohol use disorder with treatment professionals that use TSM; and SOS - our latest program and the first for significant others who support their loved ones in recovery. Our outreach efforts never cease, and because of that, hundreds of thousands of people have been introduced to TSM, a treatment for alcohol use disorder with an estimated 78% success rate in clinical practice.

We've accomplished more than we have thought possible considering our limited resources. The core team has had to maintain outside employment to make ends meet. Thankfully, we've had incredible volunteers and donors who have helped us fill the gaps. We've done a lot, but none of it has been easy.

Most nonprofits our size are forced to close their doors before reaching the five year mark. With one year left in the nonprofit "danger zone" we are running this auction both to celebrate the many successes we've had over the last 4 years and to solidify our financial situation to reach 5 years and beyond.

The C Three Foundation is the nation's only 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the Sinclair Method for treating and preventing alcohol use disorder. The Sinclair Method (TSM) is a research based, medication assisted treatment for alcohol use disorder that targets the brain's reward system through the process of pharmacological extinction resulting in the reduction of heavy drinking and addictive cravings. It does not require detox, abstinence, or expensive inpatient stays, which lowers the barriers that many people find discourage them to seek and complete treatment.
