Open Hearts for Open Doors
Open Doors for Multicultural Families works to create a more inclusive society and to provide equitable opportunities for multicultural individuals with disabilities and their families. The purpose of the Open Hearts for Open Doors virtual event is to raise not only additional funding for our essential services, we also aim to raise awareness for our community and their experiences. This auction provides a fun and impactful opportunity for the public to support Open Doors programs and services while receiving great items in return. The proceeds from this event will go towards further expanding our reach in King County and will allow us to serve more families.

About Open Doors for Multicultural Families
Open Doors for Multicultural Families (ODMF) engages and partners with culturally and linguistically diverse individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and their families. ODMF works to address the needs of the families we serve through direct support services provided by bilingual/bicultural staff who come from the communities they are working with. We provide systems navigation to help families meet their immediate needs and programming to increase parent and youth knowledge and skills. This allows ODMF community members to have the skills and confidence they need to advocate for change in the systems that continue to marginalize them. ODMF provides services across the lifespan, from birth through adulthood, to holistically meet the unique needs of the intersectional communities we serve.
