Athens Business Rocks - A Benefit for Nuçi's Space

The moment you've all been waiting for has arrived: after 5 long years, the New Westie Boyz have returned! Formed in 2017, the band of New West Records employees unites once a year for a can't-miss night of rocking for charity. Athens Business Rocks is a battle-of-the-bands event that pits local businesses against each other while raising money for our favorite organization, Nuçi’s Space. If you're not already familiar with the work Nuçi’s does, let us be the first to tell you how vital they are to our community.

Nuçi’s Space's mission is to prevent suicide. With a focus on musicians, they advocate for and help to alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and fight to end the stigma of mental illness. To accomplish their mission, Nuçi’s Space maintains a health and resource center for musicians as a safe space to seek support and guidance, provides access to affordable, obstacle-free professional care, actively participates in treatment, and educates about awareness, prevention and the risk factors of brain illnesses.

Nuçi’s Space, and all those who represent the organization, champion a culture of kindness and support to all in our community, and now it is our turn to be their champion.

We invite you to join New West Records in this year's fundraising effort. Only the top fundraising bands get to perform, so your donation is a vote for New Westie Boyz to take the stage at the fabulous 40 Watt Club on May 4th. The end goal is $45,000, and NWB will be rocking their hardest to meet and surpass it. Any and all donations are welcome and contribute to as worthy a cause as you can find.
