Mission Sunday Auction

Each year, Messiah Lutheran Church's 5th and 6th graders select an issue to study and then plan a number of activities to raise awareness and funds to help solve this issue. This year, the class has chosen the issue of homelessness. 50% of the funds raised will go to support Nexus Youth and Families,a non-profit organization that offers behavioral healthcare, emergency shelter, ongoing case management and more to youth ages birth to twenty four. The other 50% of funds will support Vine Maple Place, a Christian organization that addresses the complex issues of family homelessness. Together, we can make a difference for homelessness in South King County. Messiah Lutheran Church is a congregation that is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are located in the downtown area of Auburn, WA and are currently streaming a majority of our ministry through our website, due to the current COVID 19 pandemic. We are an inclusive community built around our commitment to following Jesus, worshiping God, striving side by side, and mending the broken places in all creation.
