Message Online Charity Auction 2022

This holiday season, treat yourself or a loved one to something special while contributing to charity, by bidding on one of our amazing auction items. Many of our prizes are custom packages thoughtfully curated by our donors, that you won't find anywhere else. This auction is open to the public, so please share it with your friends.

We've committed to sourcing the majority of our prizes from local businesses and entrepreneurs - learn more about them on their auction pages!

* Every Euro of your winning bid will be donated to four charities selected by Message members - the more you get, the more you give!

The entire amount raised from the auction will be split between four charities:

Le Choix de L'École: This donation will go directly to fulfilling teachers' wish lists in high need schools in the Paris area so that they can get materials they desperately need to teach and get students the supplies they need to learn. Zinzolin: Zinzolin helps refugees from all over the world, and especially from Afghanistan, to integrate in France. This donation will help refugees with food, housing, clothes and their administrative issues. https://possible.news/zinzolin/bienvenue-welcome/

SOS Help: SOS Help is a free English-speaking helpline in France to help prevent suicide and alleviate anxiety. Their telephone service is confidential, anonymous, and run by highly trained volunteers. https://soshelpline.org/

La Maison de Marthe et Marie: This donation will go towards helping pregnant women in France facing difficult situations, who have split with their partners, or who are without family support. https://www.martheetmarie.fr/

Message is a diverse, supportive and inclusive community of English-speaking families living in France - a home away from home where you can find friendship, support and information.

Our members come from more than 60 countries and speak over 20 other languages. We share tips about parenting and life at all ages and stages in France, get together for hundreds of different events a year - both virtual and in-person (and always in accordance with current best practices), and truly support one another.

Message is all volunteer-run with a whole lot of heart. We've been around for over 37 years, and are built from the ground up by dedicated volunteer parents, who invest their time & energy - on top of their already busy lives - into this community because of what this connection means to them and their families.
