Menagerie of Marvels

Proceeds from the auction support Mind Science's mission to fund leading-edge research and educational programs focused on the mind and brain, all with the goal of enriching human lives. Our signature BrainStorm Neuroscience Pitch Competition provides critical seed funding for early career researchers; and in 2020-2021 we launch BrainStorm “Junior” for local high school students, specially designed to inspire underserved student populations aspiring to research careers, and to encourage a lifelong love of science and learning. Our vision for BrainStorm “Junior” is to create a model that can be replicated City-wide and beyond.

The mission of the Mind Science Foundation is to explore the vast potential of the human mind in a scientific manner, for the betterment of humankind. Current areas of focus include supporting the search for an answer to one of the major questions of modern science–the puzzle of human consciousness. We do this by funding leading-edge research and educational programs focused on the mind, brain and human consciousness, all with the goal of improving the human condition.
