About Musica Viva Singers
A 26-year old Ottawa community choir based in Centretown with over 40 singers who enjoy singing in harmony. Our repertoire ranges from Renaissance motets and opera choruses to songs written just yesterday -- with lots of popular, Celtic, rock and folk song arrangements. Our Music Director is Scott Richardson, one of Ottawa's busiest musicians, and we are accompanied by the gifted pianist Tom Sear.
Musica Viva Singers returns to the stage on May 6, 2024 with a concert celebrating Lovers & Friends! Join us for an evening of song with an eclectic program featuring music from contemporary Canadian composers through to popular songwriters!
