About Our Auction

Since 2015, the Moonlight Challenge has raised nearly half a million dollars to support the life-saving work of Maine Children’s Cancer Program—an achievement that would not be possible without the support of our event goers, sponsors, and volunteers.

This year's auction will run from Friday, February 2nd until Friday, February 9th. Our supporters can bid online throughout the week, and at the Moonlight Challenge at Pleasant Mountain on the 9th. If you can't make it to the mountain, don't worry--you'll still be notified via email and/or text if you've been outbid!

Whether you join us at Pleasant Mountain or bid from afar, you'll be helping us achieve our goal of surpassing $500,000 in cumulative funds raised through the Moonlight Challenge.

Heartfelt thanks to our community partners and donors for generously providing these items and experiences - this wouldn't be possible without your support!

With questions, please reach out to Grace at grace.jandro@mainehealth.org

About Maine Children's Cancer Program

Maine Children's Cancer Program (MCCP), the pediatric oncology and hematology program of The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center, is committed to providing comprehensive care to children with cancer and blood disorders in Maine and parts of New Hampshire. Our team of pediatric oncology/hematology physicians, specialized nurses, social workers, research associates, a child life specialist, and a dedicated pediatric oncology clinical pharmacy specialist work together to provide care that incorporates three integrated components: state-of-the-art medical treatment, psycho-social support services, and clinical research. With approximately 50 new oncology diagnoses each year along with about 150 children being followed for a variety of blood disorders, MCCP fills a great need in our state, providing excellent care in a closer-to-home setting.
