About Our Auction
This is our second annual "Sports Fields for Kids" live auction which benefits the Capitol Area Recreation Association sports complex.
As you may know, CARA has two major fundraising events that include an annual golf tournament which celebrated its 25th anniversary this past September and a live “Sports Fields for Kids Auction”. While the live auction took a one-year hiatus due to the impact on area businesses from the pandemic, this year’s auction is scheduled for Saturday night, June 4, 2022, in the North Wing of the Augusta Civic Center. Our first annual live auction was very successful and raised over $30,000. We are now back on track and will have hundreds of items ranging from area restaurant gift cards to Red Sox tickets, firewood, wood pellets, home fuel, jewelry, autographed sports memorabilia, vacation packages, cybersecurity services, and much more.
