About Our Auction

This boot, meticulously handpainted by Vermont artist, Lisa Curry Mair, is being auctioned to benefit the Brooke USA foundation which exists to support the work of the Brooke, the world’s largest international equine welfare charity, alleviating suffering for 82 years. This custom made boot is stamped with Lauren Kieffer's name on the inside and features a beautiful painting of Lauren and Landmark's Monte Carlo, jumping into the water at Rolex. Lisa Curry Mair is also an equestrian and has been painting horses all of her life. Her work has been featured in The Boston Globe Magazine, The Chronicle of the Horse, Equestrian Quarterly and Yankee magazine and is part of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts permanent collection.
