2023 Holiday Gala

Join LCT for its annual Holiday Gala, celebrating our 60th anniversary season! Bid on silent auction items generously donated by regional businesses and LCT board members. Bidding will be available for Holiday Gala Ticket Holders only, and funds will be used to ensure LCT is a community staple for 60 more years!

La Crosse Community Theatre has been the Coulee Region's premiere arts institution since 1963 and is currently the primary resident of the state-of-the-art Weber Center for the Performing Arts which is nestled on the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River. Entertaining thousands of patrons each year, LCT now produces five main stage shows in the 450-seat Lyche Theatre, four black box shows in the 100-seat Veterans Studio Theatre, and presents a theatre for young audiences touring production series. We also offer youth performance and education opportunities through our Star Academy, which provides tuition free classes and camps to socioeconomically disadvantaged youth, and The Penguin Project, which invites youth with disabilities to appear in a musical with the support of a peer mentor. LCT is a member of the American Association of Community Theatre and the Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre.

This year our holiday gala will surround what LCT does best: an evening performance of The Wizard of Oz. Enjoy your glass of champagne as you enter, taste the incredible catering from The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern, and listen to holiday classics sung by Uptown Jazz from Rochester, MN. Bid on silent auction items generously donated by regional businesses and LCT board members. Purchase raffle tickets for LCT’s Holiday Gala Basket which will include donations from such venues as Pogreba’s, Commonweal Theatre Company, and The La Crosse Loggers, just to name a few!

Experience LCT’s The Wizard of Oz at its ONLY Saturday evening performance and then devour a Wizard of Oz themed cupcake from Meringue Bakery as the performance concludes.
