KidLit4Ceasefire Fundraiser

Funds from this auction will help children and their families in Gaza, Sudan, and Congo. A portion of the auction will also go toward the Little Miss Flint water fundraiser.

KidLit4Ceasefire has been created to help the kidlit and publishing community at large call for a ceasefire in Gaza and aid those in dire needs suffering from genocide and violence. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward helping people in Gaza, Sudan, and Congo. A portion of it will also go toward the Little Miss Flint water national fundraiser.

A breakdown of funds:

40% of the fundraiser will go directly to Gaza

In Gaza, donors can choose to donate to Children of Gaza, HealPalestine, Gaza Sunbrids, Care for Gaza, UNRWA, or eSIMS, Individual GoFundMe.

40% of the fundraiser will go directly to Sudan and Congo

In Sudan and Congo, donors can choose to donate to the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Sudan Solidarity Creative, Yo' Care South Sudan, Goma Actif, Girls Not Brides, the Red Cross of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, eSIMS, or individual GoFundMes.

20% of the fundraiser will go directly to the Little Miss Flint water fundraiser

Amariyanna "Mari" Copeny, also known as Little Miss Flint, is an African-American youth activist from Flint, Michigan. She is best known for raising awareness about the Flint water crisis and for fundraising to support underprivileged children in her community and across the country.
