KHOI Community Radio’s mission is Building Community through Grassroots Communication. We envision a strong community in which we care for and learn from each other. We believe that starts with communication that builds understanding and appreciation for our neighbors and acceptance of our unique strengths and gifts. At KHOI we focus on everything local. We are essentially a volunteer run organization, featuring local news, local ideas and local voices. We offer programming on air 24/7. We also are engaged in live programming at our new station in the Ames Downtown Cultural Corridor at 622 Douglas Avenue.
