1st Annual Costume Party Fundraiser

At our 1st Annual Costume Party Fundraiser, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, we are holding a costume contest, music, a photo booth, concessions, games/activities for kids, card making project, a raffle and ONLINE silent auction. The in-person fundraiser party will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church's Multi-purpose room located at 200 W Anderson Lane in Austin, TX. Your bids and participation is greatly appreciated to help in our mission. Thank you.

 Katrina's Cocoon Crew was created in honor and memory of our daughter, Katrina, who passed away in 2021 after a six-year battle with brain & spine cancer. Her dream and legacy are to bring smiles to children fighting cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. She wanted them to ‘just be a kid’ and have fun by dressing up in costumes and character pajamas. Katrina's Cocoon Crew is a 501c3 non-profit public charity (#87-3092565).Our mission is to raise funds to purchase  and to collect new & unused costumes, pajamas and accessories to give to children receiving treatment in hospitals along with spreading awareness for childhood cancer. We currently benefit children at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center in Austin, Dell Children’s Comprehensive Care Clinic in Austin, Texas Children’s Hospital in Austin, and St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
