Kumeu Arts Centre Fundraising Auction

With the increasing population in Rodney the demand for services and public facilities are rising, therefore, plans have been drawn up to build an expansion to our existing building. While the Rodney Local Board are currently reviewing the project, we anticipate that expansion will enable us to allow us to offer more of our services, including exhibitions, classes, workshops and performances, in a better, more functional building. Kumeu Arts Centre will be able to increase its capacity and offer a more diverse range of options to our community.
We desperately want this dream to become a reality and we are running this Art Auction to help raise additional funds. By purchasing Artworks from this auction you will be helping our cause while acquiring quality Art work. Many of the Artists who have generously donated works to this auction have been involved with Kumeu Arts Centre in some way, many for a long time, either through teaching, exhibiting or volunteering here.
You can come to Kumeu Arts Centre to view the works in our gallery during the Art Auction Exhibition. April 9th - 21st 2018 during which time visitors will also be able to place bids on the works displayed.

Kumeu Arts Centre was Incorporated in 1998 and operates as a not-for-profit, community arts centre. We provide a range of activities for all ages in our council owned building in Huapai. Last year we had well over 10,000 people through our doors. 2018 will be the 20th year anniversary since the inception of Kumeu Arts Centre. In that time, we have come a long way and the building has been transformed from an unused ex-works depot, ‘tin shed’, to a thriving community arts facility. We are well loved by locals and visitors alike.
