About Jasper County CASA

Every day there are over 450 children in foster care in Jasper County.

Jasper County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a local non-profit organization established to recruit, train, and support volunteers who advocate for children in foster care who have been victims of child abuse and neglect. Our volunteers advocate for the best interest of their court-appointed children and ensure that the child's wishes are heard in court. We want to ensure that every child receives the best possible chance at a safe, permanent home. Our organization currently has 70 volunteers serving 135 children. Out goal is to provide an advocate for every child in care by 2024.

CASA volunteers make a difference. Children who have a CASA volunteer on their side spend less time in the foster care system. CASA volunteers spend their time investigating, advocating for services, making fact-based recommendations, and being a constant support for these children in need.
