About Our Auction
Looking for a unique gift for someone you love ? Do you love children's literature? Check out these beautiful postcard sized artworks generously donated by Australian illustrators from around the country and make your bid.
Artworks are POSTCARD sized: A6 (105mm x 148.5mm; 4 x 6 inches)
Each year, IBBY Australia promotes Australian authors and illustrators to the world. The funds raised in this auction will help us to continue to be a member of the International Board on Books for Young People, IBBY, and support the work that they do around the world.
About IBBY Australia
IBBY Australia was formed in 1966 and is one of 82 National sections of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
IBBY is a non-profit organization which helps to build bridges to international understanding through children’s books.
IBBY Australia submits authors and illustrators and their work for several IBBY administered international awards, including:
• the Hans Christian Andersen Award
• IBBY Honour Book List
• the Silent Books collection and
• the Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities list.
