2019 Concert in the Park + Silent Auction

Concert in the Park is a celebration of music and an event that allows students and the various instrumental and choral groups to showcase their growth in skills since the beginning of the school year. The Silent Auction is held to raise much needed funds for our celebrated music program at Hughes Middle School. All proceeds from our silent auction will go towards funding the Hughes Instrumental Music program, including but not limited to, purchasing basic supplies such as reeds and rosin, purchasing instruments, and hiring music coaches.

The mission of Hughes Instrumental Music is to have students in grades 6-8 learn basic through intermediate techniques of playing instruments as well as playing in an ensemble. We teach students to appreciate the value of quality music in society and develop qualities of leadership, citizenship, and pride in performance ultimately resulting in a strong foundation for a lifetime of music making.

Bidding for all items will conclude at the live silent auction held at the Concert in the Park event on Thursday, May 9th at Hughes Middle School. The live portion of the silent auction will begin at 5pm and end at approximately 6:45 pm.

If you are unable to attend the live event, you have the option of entering a proxy bid online in advance of the live event. Proxy bids must be entered before noon on May 9 when the online portion ends. Winners with the highest bid will be notified via email and will be sent an invoice for immediate payment.
