ABOUT HOSPICE
Hospice care offers a philosophy of care that supports individuals and families as they face life-limiting illness. Hospice care is based on a holistic model that seeks to enhance a person’s quality of life and actively support their emotional physical, mental, and spiritual needs and wishes.

It is the Mission of the 100 Mile District Hospice Society to provide a volunteer service dedicated to the compassionate care of persons in the South Cariboo community, with life threatening or terminal illness and to their families.

This support is based on the philosophy, norms and standards of the BC Palliative Care Association and embraces the concept of compassionate, physical, emotional, spiritual and social care for the whole person.
