About Our Auction

Home Free Animal Rescue (HFAR) is happy to announce their 2024 Virtual Gift Auction. All proceeds will be used for our emergency health care reserve.

**ALL BIDDERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO BID IN THIS AUCTION AND 21 YEARS OF AGE TO BID ON GIFTS CONTAINING ALCOHOL **

1-By bidding in this HFAR auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
2-All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is, where is.”
3-HFAR has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
4-The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.
5-Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified.
6-Payment for items must be made via 32Auction site via PayPal link as soon as possible after the auction ends, as pickup will be on Sunday April 21st. Paypal accepts multiple methods and credit cards. *You do not need a PayPal account and PayPal helps keep your transactions secure by not sharing your full financial information with sellers. There will be no payment exceptions. The HFAR organization is unable to take payment in any other forms (cash, check, COD, etc.).
7-HFAR reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
8-PLEASE CHECK ALL EXPIRATION DATES CAREFULLY.
HFAR has tried to ensure all establishments in our auction are still in business; however, we are not responsible for any closures. Some establishments have been kind enough to extend their original expiration dates listed.
9-Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from HFAR, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneer(s), the auction company and its agents and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
10-Limits may apply: Gift cards or certificates are subject to availability and “black-out” dates.
11-HFAR reserves the right to block or withdraw anyone from the auction platform.

About Home Free Animal Rescue

Someday every animal will be cherished and cared for, but right now there are far too many that are not. Sometimes they are abandoned. Sometimes they are relinquished by their owners (for valid reasons or not). Many times their situations are dire, and that's where we come in. We've made it our job to help pets that are in a bad situation but are otherwise good companion animals who just need to find their place in the world.
We take them from desperate owners, from kill shelters in our own state and other states, and from the streets. We see to their veterinary care, providing spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, deworming and general healthcare. We place them in foster homes with people/kids/pets who lead normal lives so we can learn their personalities and place them in homes where they will be appreciated and flourish!

We want to save more animals and send them home to adopters. Our adoption process is designed to be simple and affordable, though we are all volunteers, not a huge corporate entity with a large staff, so please bear with us - we'd love to help you find a new furry friend!

Our success depends on fosters and funding. If we have both, we can do some serious life-saving! Please email us at HomeFreeAnimalRescue@gmail.com if you would like to learn more about fostering/volunteering. We are always in need of financial assistance to offset the additional expenses involved in rescue including veterinary bills, training and boarding bills, and all the supplies we need like leashes, collars, harnesses, medicines, weewee pads, cleaning supplies, toys, treats and food, etc.
