Greyt Auction for Happy Hound Homes!

This year GALT is celebrating its 20th anniversary of finding GREYT HOMES for over 3700 greyhounds, other sighthounds and hound mixes. We could not be more proud — and we are very thankful for the adopters, fosters, volunteers and donors who made it possible. We've had to make quite a few extensive "home improvements" of our own at Houn' House this year -- including $6,000 for recent drainage issues plus over $3,000 on the horizon for additional drainage work and tree trimming. This auction will help us pay some of those bills!

We are honoring our adopted GALT greys and their forever families with our Greyt Auction for Happy Hound Homes, which starts at 8:00 am CDT on Wednesday, July 21 and runs through 9:00 pm CDT on Saturday, July 31. We have some amazing auction items for humans AND hounds — art, home goods, gift cards, doggie treats and toys — PLUS jewelry, purses, dog collars, gentle leaders and more!

Even if you don’t think you need more “stuff” for yourself right now, our auction is a wonderful way to help GALT’s greys by shopping for gifts for the special hounds and humans in your life! For example, the Petco and Petsmart gift packages are nice gifts for someone you know who just fostered or adopted their first grey. And greyhound-themed art and accessories are always awesome gifts for the hound lovers in your life!

Funds from this auction will help GALT cover some of our Houn' House home improvement expenses, along with current operational needs -- which typically amount to approximately $1800/day. PLEASE help the hounds by bidding often and generously — while picking up some unique treasures for your Happy Hound Home!

Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. (GALT) is an all-volunteer 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation operating in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, throughout Texas, New Mexico and the United States since March 2, 2001. During these 20+ years, GALT has assisted more than 3800 greyhounds and other sighthounds in finding their forever homes.
