About Our Auction
This auction will help us continue to offer a safe haven and positive environment with trained caring adults for after school at-risk high school students. Students who are in need of free resources such as evening meals, a quiet place for homework and rest, access to computers and school supplies, laundry facilities, showers, recreation, daily homework help and test preparation. It will also help us grow our list of service offerings to the students.
About High Mountain Youth Project
Our mission is to involve the communities of Lincoln County, New Mexico, in providing a comprehensive safety net for youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. This comprehensive safety net currently includes an Evening Drop-in and Study Center and soon we will open a 24 hour Youth Crisis Shelter including overnight care. Your support is needed to help these vulnerable youth stay in school and graduate and know that they are part of a loving and caring community where youth are protected, empowered, loved, respected, and treated with dignity.
